AZA – Arid Zone Afforestation is a non-profit organisation focused on reforestation in areas with minimal or no rainfall, such as arid, semi-arid and desert regions. AZA’s mission is to restore these ecosystems, promoting environmental sustainability in regions facing severe climatic challenges. Its members use the innovative SAFE TREE afforestation technique and the organisation manages reforestation without the need for additional irrigation. AZA’s main principle is environmental protection, helping these areas recover and become more resilient to climate change.
